Re: Wrong profile path (strange loops)

Maybe I got it wrong - I thought the radius of your t-bone cylinders 1.5mm and your tool radius is also 1.5mm. I tried 1.6 for the t-bones with a 3mm diameter tool and it worked fine. You can experiment with smaller radii if the 0.1mm is too much for your needs. If you the actual fusion instead of a...

Re: Wrong profile path (strange loops)

Obviously I'm not very good at letting go ..... The offending piece are your t-bones (which I admire very much -nicely done). If you make your t-bones slightly larger (radius = 1.6mm) you won't have any issues without having to play with extra offset and such. It also works on the Cut directly, no n...

Re: Wrong profile path (strange loops)

Hi Herbert, Unfortunately I can't reproduce your issue (other than in your file) with any of the builds I have of 0.17 I did notice a few things: * it works in the newer version (sliptonic has a pull request out - doesn't help you right now though) * I got some good results by converting your magnet...

Re: How can one select an individual command?

One other thing I can't figure out - if I click on a path/profile then in the tree view the entire project/job gets selected, not just that specific path object. Where? Why? How?

I'm sure these are nooby questions but any pointers are highly appreciated!

Re: How can one select an individual command?

To be clear, the problem is not that I don't know how to distinguish between segments that are selectable or not, the problem I have is that no inidividual segment IS selectable (or highlight-able for that matter). Path does use SoBrepEdgeSet. Is there any documentation or exemplary code I can look ...

Re: Wrong profile path (strange loops)

Hi Herbert,
Not on my computer right now, will check it out tonight. Which version are you using?
Markus

BTW: I had a quick look and you seem to have 4 of those issues, 2 on top and 2 at the bottom.

Re: Path object model + dressups

I guess I wasn't clear - let me try again. You are correct that a dressup can dressup a dressup ... and all that works. What happens though is when you edit/modify the underlying, original path it can't find the job it's part on. The reason is because in PathUtils (at least) there are assumptions be...

setProperty by name (python) ?

Is there a way to set the property value of a Feature by its name in python? The idea is to retrieve certain properties at the beginning of editing with "getPropertyByName" and if the user hits Cancel, to restore them - and it would be nice if I could just iterate over a list of property names inste...
