I am currently discussing this with @mlampert. https://forum.fre...

:shock: :shock: I think there is the Boolean at thrue:
It's the space at the end of "EnableExperimentalFeatures ", the space before the closing quotation mark which causes the problem.

Re: Tools, old Tool, new ToolBit and other fun stuff

It looks like you got everything enabled but it still isn't, very disturbing.
Walter, could you post your user.cfg and system.cfg please?

Do these additional icons depend on opencamlib?
No they don't, and neither does the ToolBit code - the only thing that should depend on OCL is the Surface op.

Code: Select all

import PathScripts.PathPreferences as PathPreferences
PathPreferences.experimentalFeaturesEnabled()
Can you post the output of these commands from the python console?

When you have different tools, they would have different zeros ;) . I can argue either way, it seems most ppl intuitively see the tip as 0/0/0 (as...

What am I doing wrong?
AFAICT you're trying to use the ToolBit directly in the job. You still need to create a ToolController to wrap the ToolBit so it can be used in a job. This is where the ToolBit gets a number for the tool changer (if you have one) and where the feeds and speeds are set.
