Re: Using Building icon in Arch throws an error.

In my fork of the manual I will add a note that the python script was fixed in version 0.17.

Using Building icon in Arch throws an error.

Working thru the BIM chapter of the manual https://yorikvanhavre.gitbooks.io/a-freecad-manual/content/working_with_freecad/bim_modeling.html Following these instructions: * Select the two slabs, the wall, and the array of beams * Press the Floor button. The selected items will collapse into a single...

Re: I've lost the Welding Symbols of the Drawing Dimensioning Workbench

I had opened an issue in hamish2014/FreeCAD_drawing_dimensioning back in May. Now that we know more, I've amplified the original issue on github. I had hoped it was as simple as providing a compound OR conditional however the line above tries to type cast the 'Unknown' text as integer which throws t...

Re: I've lost the Welding Symbols of the Drawing Dimensioning Workbench

No joy after deleting the two config files. I did notice in the InitGui.py file: import weldingSymbols --> git_commit_no = int( FreeCAD.Version()[2].split()[0] ) if git_commit_no > 5166: weldingCommandList = ['dd_weldingGroupCommand'] else: weldingCommandList = weldingSymbols.weldingCmds self.append...

Re: I've lost the Welding Symbols of the Drawing Dimensioning Workbench

I've lost the Welding Symbols of the Drawing Dimensioning Workbench

I'm detailing my model. Using the Drawing Dimensioning Workbench (hamish), the Dimension symbols are available, but there are no Weld icons in the toolbar. I've recently updated the Drawing Dimension workbench via a git pull As well as updated the OS (Fedora 23 to Fedora 25) And I've dropped the per...

Snap Difficulties

I am having trouble with snaps; when snapping to an intersection the point placement 'falls off' the snap or intersection. Working on the 2m square kitchen example: http://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/index.php?title=Manual:Traditional_2D_drafting Draft Workbench Auto --> (XY) Top Draft Grid off Select D...

Re: Keyboard shortcut in Draft

To me this seems to be related to Tracker issue 2756 http://www.freecadweb.org/tracker/view.php?id=2756 I was hoping for a 'this works for me' or 'i'm having the same issue' response, to insure it was a valid issue before writing it up in Tracker. Regarding the navigation style. I am using CAD, I ha...

Keyboard shortcut in Draft

Working thru the manual: https://yorikvanhavre.gitbooks.io/a-freecad-manual/content/working_with_freecad/traditional_2d_drafting.html The manual states: "Note that most of the Draft commands can be fully performed from the keyboard, without touching the mouse, using their two-letter shortcut. Our fi...
