no selected result type means no histogramm
- Added a messagebox to give a hint in that case
- Added migration code to convert stat from old result object: (min, avg, max)->(min, max)

is there a special reason for deleting the try here: https://github.com/UR-0/FreeCAD/commit/ ... 1R324-R327
Code was commented out just for debugging reasons. Should be restored at releasing.
But perhaps you wanna do some testing before.

Re: Minor Improvement for Task Panel ResultShow

How about removing the Avg value? Stats member "avg" removed from result object. Histograms added Source: https://github.com/UR-0/FreeCAD/commits/FEM_histograms_to_result_obj screenshot.gif Please have a look. Migration of old result objects not yet implemented, so import a fresh calculated, ATM

Re: Choose a more precise object name: vonMises instead of StressValues

but doesn't this break the Results object? Yes, old result objects get broken. :bell: To patch old result object we need to add to femobjects\_FemResultMechanical.py line 304: def onDocumentRestored(self, obj): if hasattr(obj, "StressValues") == True: obj.addProperty( "App::PropertyFloatList", "von...

(this is not a problem of transparency, more like the size of the font) :

Please see here: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic. ... 10#p364739

Should work meanwhile, if using latest build.

Choose a more precise object name: vonMises instead of StressValues

Disturbed for a long time by diffuse object naming, like Screenshot 002.png instead of "von Mises equivalent stress". There are many stress definitions out there, e.g. von Mises, Tresca, Coulomb, Saint-Venant, Guest, Rankine, Burzyński-Yagn, Huber, Mao-Hong Yu, Altenbach-Bolchoun-Kolupaev (some of t...

Re: Minor Improvement for Task Panel ResultShow

How about removing the Avg value? I would vote for substitution. Especially if you are optimizing part weight and therefore stress distribution a histogram so so much more useful than averages. https://i.stack.imgur.com/do3WK.png https://stackoverflow.com/questions/33203645/how-to-plot-a-histogram-...
