True it was not fully constrained but, my view (attached) does not look like the one you posted. Nonetheless, I added constraints - it did not fix the problem. The attached is before adding the constraints.

Printed only the upper section of the Clasp/post… It printed fine. Photo attached (did not print it for good quality - print settings at end of post). Regarding your part: I ran your file through my Netfab app and it appears to be O.K. Also checked O.K. in Simplify3D. The problem with the Post/Clasp...

Printed my Cam_3Da model (split into halves to print without using supports in the groove’s overhang). Tweaked the groove curve for a straight line.

Made a Follower/Holder and put it on the lathe…

it can be done more easily with PartDesign - but, you know that... (and, can use bspline or simple radius')

scrnshot of part in printer bed - at 45deg show flat.

Think about, I'm cutting the top and bottoms off with a cut - cut's go in a straight direction across the plane of cut... No way it can be angled unless the cut itself is angled where it enters/leaves the cylinder...
