Hello i found this software http://frame3dd.sourceforge.net/ it is open source 2D/3D frame structural analysis software Windows, OS X and Linux,written in c and support spreadsheet input files. so i'm just thinking if we can merge it in freecad to be able doing frame analysis or at least add command...

There is a Draft "profile" object (Draft/DraftProfile.py) which is used by most of the metal presets of the Arch Structure tool (H profiles, etc...). I think that would be a perfect and very easy place to extend with more profiles...

what do you think about adding the (T,L ,circle Sections ) to beam and columns and more working with steel sections Ex ,icon shows the chosen section type

hello guys here is the files,the attachment is 7z file contain 3 files (icons- arch-initgui) extract to get the files ,don't forget to take a copy of your old files i separated the structural system command too you can create any object from the scratch or based on another objects test it and give y...
