Re: Feature request: Multiple horizontal passes on Profile/Contour?

stock on Job properties is set to use solid, not bbox, or extend, etc... but tried those too and get same results -Wilhelm I have to do this very frequently and I normally achieve it by creating multiple profile operations and adjusting the 'extra offset' on each pass. You might have to create pass...

Re: Merge Profile Tools

There is currently two profile operations in path: ... No longer as of today, Sir. As a bonus, we threw in Contour into the amalgamation. The new unified Profile operation allows for selection of faces or edges and behaves as follows: Initiated with no selections, it is in the previous Contour oper...

Re: How to organize the classes in FreeCAT

Is your code available anywhere? Did you have a look at liblathe? https://github.com/dubstar-04/LibLathe Post Here: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=30563 Much of the work that you are doing has been done there, I would be very happy to work together on a lathe library. Re: Issue with G2 and G3 in XZ plan

Thank you, i will check your code. Here is the result with G18. I also improved the final cut with a last profil. I also implemented front (5°) and back (30°) tool angles in orange. Here, the discretisation is done with 20 segments only for debug, but quite already good compared to the original pro...

Re: Approximate/rough guess of milling time

I will be able to look at it for individual 3D paths. But not for multiple OPs (I don't operate a conventional milling machine, thus I'm outside the typical workflow). Regarding the behavior on no active OP, i can propose that it either be informative and display something like "No Active OP" or sp...
