Re: Toolcontroller GUI Bug

Thorsten,
May I ask your naming convention for your Tool-Controller. I'm assuming that's an 8mm diameter, 25mm cut-length. Is ALU a coating, or intended material? Do you separate between tool styles in your names? I ask because I'm trying to determine best approach for myself.

Best,
Josh

Re: Inconsistencies in SetupSheet

Great point about returning to Default after overwriting Thorsten--I've run up against that too. Appreciate the breakdown mlampert. I've wondered about the intended use. I've been using Rapid Speed fields. I use Operation-Start-Depth field and set it for the height I face to, leaving that operation,...

Path just improved for me!

I was having a lot of trouble on semi-complex models using Path, and spent hours yesterday on V0.17595 trying to isolate what was exacerbating things. I didn't have success. Today I saw there was a new version, which I downloaded, and found it works VERY nicely for me now. I don't have issues with F...

Re: Couple of potential bugs...

I like Herb's suggestion for Select-All button. Is there a way to manually reorder the Drill/Helix Operation?

Re: GCode Error generated in Pocket_3D operation.

Thanks Chris--no problem. And, agreed on the amazing work done here by the Development team! I hope my feedback is helpful. I'm actively using this for work so have the opportunity to really work with the software tools. My duties at work have also involved testing our software over the last couple ...

Re: GCode Error generated in Pocket_3D operation.

I made a simple example as you'd mentioned Chrisb. I made sure to Recompute-All at each step, and to look at the Dependency-Graph at each step. Weirdly, the D-G can't draw if I add a tool in to the Job--no idea on that. If I add the Profile-Faces Operation, the D-G can draw again. Recompute-All show...

Re: GCode Error generated in Pocket_3D operation.

I was trying to do what you are describing--not what you thought I meant--but the first operation I define has the Final-Depth locked. I can set the Start Depth, and the Finish-Depth, but the Final-Depth is taken from my model and I can't override it...

Re: GCode Error generated in Pocket_3D operation.

I'll try. I was super careful walking that model though, ensuring zero errors with Recompute All step by step. Path is generally much more workable with this model, but the Dependency Graph can't generate an image under the cases I mentioned--Path-WB is generating correct outputs... Now that I'm abl...

Re: Tool Manager Suggestion(s)

I think I misstated that Chrisb. Agree it's good to have it push tools down generally. I had an instance where I had a gap near the top, and 10+ tools below the gap. As I moved Tools up, all Tools below the gap were pushed further down... I also made the mistake of using " in my Tool name to disting...
