Spreadsheet Insert Rows breaks linked equations

I did a search on Spreadsheet bugs, and I didn't see this so thought I'd mention it: I've defined a bunch of constraint values in a Spreadsheet. I then used these in Constraining Sketch, Pad, and Pocket values in Part-Design-WB. Some of the Cells contain constraints that reference other Cells in sim...

Re: Contour Path positioning error

Interesting. I'm with Gene--less than half a mil error doesn't shift results on my machine. I doubt I could accurately measure it. This seems analogous to a convergence setting for ECAD SPICE simulation, in that the degree that the FC-PATH GCODE output path accurately cuts the FC3d-model for complex...

Re: face profile op calculates wrong g0 levels

I know that Z height calculations are a bit in flux at the moment, and that there is continuing discussion about how best to proceed--on several operations. I appreciate that the long-term goal is to allow best of both worlds, with Rapid Transits occurring at a height that is global to the Job, but ...

Re: 3D Pocket error

Since it's been mentioned a couple of times, another thing that confuses me is that I'm not clear about the difference between " Pocket-Shape " and Pocket-3D . I don't think I've used the former, and I haven't found it--is that command invoked by the "3D Surface" icon? I know things are in developme...

Re: 3D Pocket error

So the proper way to do it would be to change the model so that the bottom of the pocket is at the right position. Hi Chris, This confuses me as the behavior of the Pocket-3D generating an error flag happens even after correcting the model. The model has the bottom at Z=0mm, consistent with the zer...

3D Pocket error

I've been vexed trying to modify a previously working Pocket-3D operation. It had worked with Start-Depth = 12.0mm, Finish-Depth = 6.0mm, Step-Down = 6.0mm. I modified the Start-Depth to 12.5mm, Finish-Depth to 6.5mm, and Step-Down remained 6.0mm. Every time, I hit apply, I get an Error on that oper...

Face Boundary-Shape = Boundbox bug?

Hi, Working with a simple job where I need to place a piece of stock on my vacuum-table, Face the Top-Surface, then flip the work and finish my job. I had believed a reasonable way to do this was to define the size of the Bound-Box in the Job-Setup Extend Model's Bound Box inputs. I then defined a F...

Re: Modifying a Post Processor?

Thanks Brad--that's working perfectly now.

Thanks for the Drill/Helix fix on today's update--was thrilled to be able to modify a job and not have to remap those items!

Best Regards,
Josh

Modifying a Post Processor?

I finally figured out what Brad was driving at about modifying my Post-Processor to meet my machine requirements for embedding Manual Tool Changes in my job. What I'm unclear about is how to have Path look to a Post-Processor in an external folder. Since I end up with a new update for Freecad every ...

Re: Couple of potential bugs...

I'm going to explore the different available operations more tomorrow, but appreciate the suggestions. As I'm acclimating to PATH, I've thought a bit about what the price is in the learning curve--that is, what aspects are complicated about getting started with PATH. I've spent a week, and feel like...
