Re: Numerical input on object creation

Just answering: I draw the trace /start point/ then want to enter just the length.
Direction/axis has been locked on start with <Shift> key.
Sketchup would be best reference.

Numerical input on object creation

hi,
Re Arch WS: Is it possible to enter required eg length while creating a wall ?
I mean: I stretch the wall along some /SHIFT locked/ constraint/axis and need to just enter a number, without jumping between panels, panes and input fields?

Think I read somewhere conda does not like to be splitted between different ...

Re: ana(conda) windows packaging

Thx. Succeeded with the build but /since I got env etc etc on the drive other than C it needed some playing with the paths in cmake_conda.bat /. The build is unusable though, got no icons on Freecad Start Center, it cant find relevant modules: eg. ArchDesign.py. Would be really great if we could str...

Re: ana(conda) windows packaging

Maybe it's possible, but I see people (you) constantly complaining about problems with msvc17, so I guess it's still a bit too early to use it. ;) If you want to push for newer libraries conda-forge is the place to do so.... My pleasure, I personally find less problems with MSVC2017 than former ver...

Re: ana(conda) windows packaging

As told already Ive built built qt 5.11.1 /latest/ with MSVC2017 x64.

Whats so worse in MSVC2017 comparing to eg 2015 that makes building FC harder?
Its has less problems with vcvars/setting the environment than 2015...

Re: ana(conda) windows packaging

hi guys,

I see 'daily' builds appear constantly but I personally cant compile v.018 on MSVC2017 x64 with the Libs 11.5.3 from sgrogan
Could anybody advice where/how move on with this - either w/conda or cmake ?
Can I use /just compiled/ QT 5.11.1 ?
Should I build any individual deps ?

Re: New libpacks for Windows with VTK and OCCT7 by sgrogan

Hi, Just trying to build w/msvc2017 community (and FC libpack ver. 11.5.3) but so far cant move forward with some error-such as: 1. at beginning of compilation some FC scripts cant obviously find msvc command line building tools: (...) 4>Generating moc_Debugger.cpp 3>LINK : fatal error LNK1181: <tr...
