Re: Improved radius drawing

Hi Wandererfan, I've just skimmed through the US ASME Y14.5-2009 standard and what to say? It seems the US is a world for itself - different units, different paper formats, different technical drawings ... Honestly, with the ISO 129-1 implementation above, the ASME Y14.5 standard is clearly violated...

Improved radius drawing

Hi to all! Recently I have found out the radiuses are not displayed quite correcly in the .019 dev version. Here's a screenshot taken from the version built from master: radius_current.png The outer placements seem to be ok, but the the inner placements for arcs seem to be broken, lines are often cr...

Re: SVG export improvements

Hi guys, I would also like to thank all involved, especially @WandererFan, who seems to work 24h/d without need to sleep ;-) Anyway I am glad this one is merged and hopefully without most obvious bugs. The TechDraw code will be more robust, less error prone and the exported SVG much more maintainabl...

Re: SVG export improvements

Hi again, I have closely looked on the ANSIB templates and basically, there were font style attributes attached to the <tspan> with editable value. As my initial replacement design was to create a new <tspan> and fill in just the text, the font attibutes were discarded and the font style taken from ...

Re: Templates per GOST Standard

Hi to all! @Abrosimov - I guess the issue @WandererFan mentions is present only in the "SVG export refactoring" branch. Everything is OK with the RU templates You have added, no need to worry :-) Thanks for Your contribution! @WandererFan - I have fixed the problem on the branch, my bad, I have thou...

Re: SVG export improvements

Oops, sorry, I was commenting the issues mentioned in this thread above, namely the BSD license question and the ANSIB template problem, whose editable fields font is huge, at least from what I can see on the pictures...

Re: SVG export improvements

Hi, exactly - I'd say >> No xml:space="preserve" attributes, unless FreeCAD sets it itself. << otherwise the template author risks bad label positioning, because the amount of spaces in the input XML can significantly differ from the XML produced by Qt XML DOM writer with 2 spaces as default block i...

Yep, that's it. But I had to deduce it from the Travis build log :-)

Re: QtXmlPatterns Available in Travis Win Build?

Hi WandererFan, sure no problem with squashing the commits - at least for these with CMake changes this is more than desirable. As for the custom templates, let me take a look on them, definitely the new Russian templates must be updated as well and have the xml:space="preserve" attribute removed fr...

Re: QtXmlPatterns Available in Travis Win Build?

Hello, finally, the Windows build is successful :-) Thanks all of you for helping hands! There were several problems, but the important ones were: There is a difference in CMake treatment between Qt4 and Qt5. Qt4 uses QT_QTXMLPATTERNS_INCLUDE_DIR + QT_QTXMLPATTERNS_LIBRARY , while Qt5 sets Qt5XmlPat...
