Re: Probleme beim Entgraten (Deburr) von einer Kontur

Ah super!

Re: FreeCAD on macOS Mojave

Good news for now: On macOS 10.15 (Catalina) this issue seems to be gone. No more need for workarounds :) You just have to go through a few more safety measures to get freecad running after downloading. There's another little bug, also with macOS 10.14: Freecad unexpectedly quits when I try to open ...

Re: 0.17 & Mac Mojave total crash

I was using the latest 0.19 dmg release from git. Let's hope apple doesn't remove OpenGL with the gm/final release.

Re: 0.17 & Mac Mojave total crash

I have just tested a beta of macOS 10.15 catalina. It is still possible to run FreeCAD - so hopefully we can safely upgrade :) You just have to do a few more clicks to make it happen.

Re: How to leave small gaps in cutting paths?

Sorry for answering so late, and thank you for your efforts! I am quite busy and have been trying to get this working :/ I have already deleted the .FCStd file. The problem should probably not be 'hacked' in a modified postprocessor anyway.. there are many settings and things that would still output...

Re: 0.17 & Mac Mojave total crash

Is it really necessary to sign these bundles? As far as I understand, there's no way to get these bundles to work on Catalina (the next macOS release, 10.15). Also, every Mac user will be nudged to upgrade the OS (and so they do) and new Macs won't be able to boot older macOS releases. I hope Apple...

Re: How to leave small gaps in cutting paths?

Thanks for your help! Here's a simple 10mm square to be lasercut with holding tags on each edge. square_freecad.txt is what i get out of freecad using grbl postprocessor. square_laser.txt is how I would modify that file to make it work on a lasercutter. The holding tags are too big in this case beca...

Re: How to leave small gaps in cutting paths?

Hey, thanks a lot for hacking that -noZ option. I'll try it. For my current 'workflow hack', to get holding tags for lasercutting, I have to use the Z changes as a source for "find and replace all" in a text editor. I am placing the holding tags with some odd Z number, 90deg. Then I'll search and re...
