Re: Sketcher solver redundancy error

OS: Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS Word size of OS: 32-bit Word size of FreeCAD: 32-bit Version: 0.18.16 093 (Git) Sorry for the off topic, but I'm curious: is there a reason for using the freecad-daily package (which is stuck ATM) rather than the newer freecad-stable one? It is based on the 0.18.1 tag, which ...

Re: Seeing edges after fusion

Have a look how this model can be much simplified by changing your thinking: rather than only thinking of fusing building blocks together, start with the idea that you are working from a block from which you will remove material, as in the machining process; or as a sculptor. Start with a sketch tha...

Re: Seeing edges after fusion

Version: 0.17.13541 (Git) Version 0.18 has been out, please do yourself a favour and upgrade.

Re: [Macro] Straighten objects

Hi,

I stumbled on this topic, as it happens somebody over the Open discussion forum made a feature request about exactly what your macro does. https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=35791

Why not post your macro to the wiki? It would get more views and could be added to the Addon manager.

Re: Disappearing post.

Tried searching for keithsloan52 and it did not turn up. When you view your own profile you have a link to all your posts. How can you not know this after all this time here? :? Just click on your name to the left of any of your posts. Useful reading: https://forum.freecadweb.org/app.php/help/faq
