Re: Sketch fillet breaks constraints

Funny, but I had always looked at it as almost a feature. When one applies a fillet to a constrained sharp angle, FreeCAD has no idea what the radius of the fillet is going to be, so the constraint must be removed to accommodate it's placement, otherwise the radius would need to end up infinitely sm...

Re: Daily PPA for 0.19

dpkg: warning: while removing freecad-daily-runtime, directory '/usr/lib/freecad-daily/Mod' not empty so not removed I think this line is the problem, when you purged I'm surprised it didn't take this directory with it. Can you try doing the purge again, manually sudo rm -rf /usr/lib/freecad-daily/...

Re: Daily PPA for 0.19

No, Uninstall and reinstall did not help. Hmm... by any chance did you uninstall by doing sudo apt purge ? If you didn't, based on what I think your situation is, you might need to. You should be able to just do: sudo apt purge -y \*freecad-daily\* && sudo apt install -y freecad-daily I think the p...

I did remove and reinstall from the command line and did not see any errors then.
So the issue is resolved for you?

Re: Daily PPA for 0.19

It would seem the answer to that would be no. Just deleted all the __pycache__ folders in ~/Mod, no joy, Still the same thing. And the sub-directories of your add-ons? Anyway, it seems like a python2/python3 conflict? Yes, went through each + did a search. If this is a Py2/3 conflict, why is it onl...

Re: Daily PPA for 0.19

No, I didn't see any errors, but to be truthful, wasn't looking, used Discover package manager, not on the command line, or at least not the first time. I did remove and reinstall from the command line and did not see any errors then. I see some PY2 stuff. Maybe the __pycache__ files in the .FreeCA...

Re: Daily PPA for 0.19

is it just me and my install? From where I sit, something seems rather broken. Mark Did you get any error messages during the upgrade? Also, can you paste the output of dpkg -l | grep freecad ? No, I didn't see any errors, but to be truthful, wasn't looking, used Discover package manager, not on th...

Re: Crash when importing svg as geometry

I am also noticing the differences between the Qt and Python versions between the 0.18.1 release and the AppImage builds. In 0.18.1 we have Qt version: 5.9.5 and Python version: 3.6.7 in 0.19 we have Qt version: 5.6.2 and Python version: 3.7.1 So, the 0.18.1 release has newer Qt and older Python tha...
