Re: A2+ - Part reference geometry

In A2+ is there a way to show (in the assembly view) the parts reference geometry eg plane, axis and points I'm not sure how to do this in A2plus but here are some home made programs you can try. The viewer is the one you want for viewing mates. Unzip the zip file and add the A2plusmore folder to y...

Re: Another approach to assembly solver (A2plus)

the conflictfinder takes > 30 Minutes Copy/paste the A2plusupdater file into the mod/A2plusmore folder. The conflictfinder will not run. After the updater runs if there are missing features the viewer will open. msg = ''' The highlighted parts were not moved. They are not constrained (also over con...

Re: Flexible assemblies. How manage them ?

Fcaduser My solution would be to add part suppression to the A2plus program and control them with configurations. At present A2plus has constraint suppression. When you make the constraint invisible it also removes the effect of the constraint. Suppressing a part would suppress all of the constraint...

I forgot the assembly file so here it is. Also would you send the files you used for your assembly?

On the other hand, I didn't understand how you saved the different pieces in different files. Video is attached. https://youtu.be/qX4tZmeDqgo The purpose of this assembly: bring the 2 side pieces together or separate them in parallel by acting on the spacing of the 2 central screws. https://youtu.b...

Re: A2+ "Parts where not moved. They are not constrained to a fixed part!"

I am lost in this software which seemed efficient to me, and I am very disappointed! I understand. I was disappointed the moment I found there was not a way to align a round part to a slot. I would think that would be a basic need. The more I look at this the more I see the need for other tools to ...

Re: A2+ "Parts where not moved. They are not constrained to a fixed part!"

"Pieces paralleles", "Bras 1" and "Bras 2" must be duplicated for assembly. I would like to assemble them and then animate the mechanism. Here are the parts back. To create the separate pieces I highlighted the three parts that I did not want and then did a "save as" with the file. I found out that...

Re: A2+ "Parts where not moved. They are not constrained to a fixed part!"

As I have already created several (quite complex) bodies in the same FreeCad file, is it possible to copy them separately in several independent files in order to be able to assemble them later in A2 +? How to do ? Basically the files need to be in separate files so if you have 5 bolts in an assemb...

Re: a2plus: Constraints inconsistent. Cannot solve System.

New xample of same problem: It looks like a different problem. as I think this might be what you are looking for. I created a file. Inserted one part then made an array of 10 across at 6 inch's ,5 down at 3 inch's and 2 back at 60 inch's. Yours's looks like just the x would be needed. Start with A2...
