Re: [BUG?] Problem with the default C++ DXF import function

Works correctly for me in both the Conda version and the Libpack version. Thanks for testing! :) Interesting, we seem to have exactly the same FreeCAD version, even the version hash code is the same; but still different end result. The other weird thing is that I made a few very similar DFX parts, ...

[BUG?] Problem with the default C++ DXF import function

Hi! I made the attached DXF file with FreeCAD, using the Draft-WB method suggested in the Wiki (Face -> Shape2DView -> DXF). Everything seems to be actually fine with the export, but the FreeCAD default import reads the file incorrectly, with the circular arcs interpreted as full circles. I tried th...

Re: mass property (volume, weight ... )

Re: mass property (volume, weight ... )

tray this macro Seems to work with my example file at least, that's nice, thanks! :D I think this actually already fulfills my usecase nicely, but would there be any chance to integrate similar looping into the "official" FCInfo macro for parts and other containers, so that other users of the FCInf...

Re: About angular dimension tolerances in TechDraw

There's another very small related but distinct issue left, which I just realized, but which is so small that I don't see it worth its own thread: There should not be a space character between the number and the degree character, they should be together without an extra gap. Other sources seem to ag...

Re: About angular dimension tolerances in TechDraw

Try with this cc81f791da . Works like a charm, muchos gracias! :D You even did the "°"-characters for the small tolerance texts, so it's now perfectly standard-compliant. I also tested my preferred hack method, it also still works (the left one in the pic), as well as the default angular style is n...

Re: create virtual points and rectangular dimension

:?: :?: Not sure I know about this one. Sample? Never mind, I understand now. Thanks for the reminder. You're welcome! :-D Just in case there would be other people interested who do not know what you're referring to, there was an earlier thread about discussing the problem about a year ago https://...

Re: create virtual points and rectangular dimension

No problem. I treat tech draw as preliminary, so its ok. May be you like to add a feature like that in future ... I'm not the coder here, WandererFan is. I'm just an enthusiastic TechDraw user with some coding experience. :) That said, I actually had a look inside the code a few months ago, and it'...

Re: create virtual points and rectangular dimension

Hm, I created an additional line in sketch, but it does not show up in techdraw. Refresh drawing didn't change anything. When adding the TechDraw view the first time, you'll need to select both the 3D object and the sketch from the document tree at the same time, using ctrl or shift when selecting....

Re: mass property (volume, weight ... )

FCInfo work only with the selected object, can you give an example file using App->Link Certainly. However, as I said it only does not work with App->Link part objects; but it certainly works with App->Link (other) objects, e.g. linked bodies. In the linked file you'll find a simple Asm4 assembly c...
