Re: [Bug?] Using undo in Sketcher causes errors after the Big Merge

Can you provide a preferably very simple file with the rectangles and the references to external geometry? Attached. Note that you'll be able to create such a file yourself simply by pressing "undo" in sketcher, with any sketch having any constraints. So, quite simple. I also tested with Linux with...

[FIXED] Using undo in Sketcher causes errors after the Big Merge

Hi! If I start FreeCAD v0.19 (after the Big Merge), and add a Part Design body, a sketch, and subsequently add anything adding constraints (e.g. two rectangles) into the sketch and undo the second one, there will be an error. All the constraints disappear, and I can't add any more constraints. When ...

Re: Cosmetics v2

Is the behaviour of the dimensions different between geometry lines and cosmetic lines? I think the main difference are the new situations arising from the fact that you noticed: Two centerlines (or a centerline and a geometry line) can cross without having a vertex at the intersection. Other than ...

Re: Cosmetics v2

Hi! I think I found some new bugs with the cosmetic centerlines. The angular dimension values between the centerlines get sometimes lost and show zero angle when using the angle tool in TechDraw workbench, and the report view says DVD::getDimValue - Dimension - 2D references are corrupt . Also, in p...

Re: Cosmetics v2

3104854826 should fix "Add Show/Hide invisible lines tool". No wiki entry yet. Well that was fast! Seems to work well, and fits perfectly my use case. Thanks a thousand! One thing might be difficult for a beginner; namely there is no visual cue if the viewall button is active or not. I think usuall...

Re: Cosmetics v2

It looks at the first edge in the selection for style info, but if that line hasn't been "styled" it uses defaults. It should be looking at the overall settings of the View instead. This should work great, if it'd indeed use the "real" info of the first edge of the selection, be it individually sty...

Re: Cosmetics v2

Very useful, thanks! Centerlines work nicely, and I could edit and use them as I'd expect. I tested quite a few things and any weird corner cases I could think of, but everything just worked. Well done! :D However, I noticed some things with the DecorateLine functionality: There are two ways to make...

Re: CosmeticEraser and FaceCenterLine Alpha Release

So I would start with a CL of a Face, then rotate by X* about it's midpoint? Great suggestions and comments. Thanks for testing. Exactly! That way one could add a centerline, when e.g. a screw hole or some other feature happens to be at 45° to the horizontal axis in a section drawing. It'd make sen...

Re: CosmeticEraser and FaceCenterLine Alpha Release

Test reports are very welcome. Both are fairly useful additions, thanks! CosmeticEraser: Works great for me with all types of CosmeticVertices and FaceCenterLine. Small nitpick: Selecting a CosmeticVertex and pressing "Delete" on keyboard deletes the View, not the CosmeticVertex. Using the mouse bu...

Re: Cosmetic Vertex Alpha Release

Preliminary (alpha) versions of TechDraw_CosmeticVertex , TechDraw_Midpoints and TechDraw_Quadrant are available in master branch. Thanks a lot! This new functionality seems to fix many problem cases even in its preliminary alpha state! For example: FreeCAD-filletmodel-TechDraw-CosmeticVertices.png...
