Re: Pad to a face with simple vs complex sketch

It is the latest Conda_Py3QT5-WinVS2015_x64 build. Could you try that under MacOS? I mean Conda_Py3Qt5_glibc2.12-x86_64.AppImage?

Re: Using face from another body as reference breaks combo view.

It actually creates a shape binder which is visible on reloading the file but also throws a lot of errors in the Report View: ComboViewErr_Reload.jpg . . . RuntimeError: Internal C++ object (PySide2.QtWidgets.QStyle) already deleted. Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\Wivern\AppData\R...

Re: New user - Working with an imported STEP file

Probably not a bug. When I tried using Part's with bodies inside they can be moved as a whole - transforming the part transforms all bodies within it together. You could try to move the Part piece outsde the part (drag it in the tree view) and once it is no longer part of the Part create a body from...

Re: New user - Working with an imported STEP file

Import the STEP file. In the tree view select one of the elements from the part - the lid for example (which is shown as a blue cube). Create new body. It will have a BaseFeature which is copy of the slected object and you can add extra features to it. This worked with a STEP file with a single obje...

Re: Using face from another body as reference breaks combo view.

As I mentioned reopening the file makes everything visible. The problem happens while editing the file. I will try to make a screencast.

How to change default values for newly created bodies?

In a one of my files "Display mode body" got changed to "Tip" automatically some time ago. This makes sketches invisible and imposible to edit. I found that this is the problem and changed it by hand for the bodies that need editing but lately forgot and stumbled upon it again. Is there a way to cha...

Using face from another body as reference breaks combo view.

When using a face from another body as base for a sketch it breaks combo view. The sketch and all subsequent features are not visible in combo view. This happens only when the face is used as independent of dependent copy. When it is crossreferenced the features are visible in combo view. After savi...
