Re: How to place a windows inside a wall

And that has you creating a separate volume to subtract from the walls (and that volume is then hidden). The problem with that method, that the wall wizard accepts roof parameters in degrees. While creating the exact same volume for substracting from the wall seems unnecessary and difficult (when y...

Re: How to place a windows inside a wall

But : according to your signature : are you really using this FreeCAD version : 0.15.4139 ? No, but the website mentioned in my signature the login is not working since half year or so (just redirects to my login page again and again). My freecad version is: OS: Ubuntu 14.10 Word size of OS: 64-bit...

Re: How to place a windows inside a wall

When I created a roof, I did two different objects - one was a roof volume, which I used to subtract from the walls, and remained hidden. The second was the roof itself. I opened a topic about the roof and did it that way: http://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=11470 It is not the correct ...

Re: Color Bug?

Yeah but that's not what i mean. the selected surface had to be dark green as seen in the bar on the left (when not selected). The PCB plate is dark green; the blocks are black and the connections aren't colored yet. As you can see on the right everything shows the default color... Opening your fcs...

When i close the model and open it again everything is gray. i opened a second window to show when i say...

How to place a windows inside a wall

I have a very basic model, and I'm unable to place a window inside a wall. I tried everything possible, watched on youtube the only available tutorial about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=331N7aBSLsU But it is not working for me. Here is the model, how it looks like: simplest_house2.png In the ...

Re: Possible bug: Arch Rebar could not be created if sketch has an external geometry dependency

(perhaps referencing the underlying wire for example), But you loose the parametric behaviour, like wall thickness. When you create a window (or other structure) from a sketch, I understand it simply deletes any external geometry and constraints from the sketch. I would highly appreciate a screenca...

Re: Arch rebar corners rounding

Looks like the bug appears, when there are at least 4 corners.
The wire does not need to be closed for the bug.
I made a gap on an edge of the rectangle on purpose, the bug is still the same:
