it will be a straight learning Curve to you as of all CAD/CAM systems it may take some days to be a Semipro
but at all it is the way you shoudt go to get your system set up to a full opensource workflow

Hi i think you are more interestet in the inlays and sound outlet shapes so as you get it from a image you shoudt black out the shape as of a graphics like GIMP(free),Photoshop.... then just vectorize it inside INKSCAPE (free) and import/open this svg to freecad there are multiple ways to do this th...

its a straight lerning curve as on every CAD gods its own function to be used
get ahead of the basics and you are fine on doing your konstruction with the opensource

you can pattern your holes
and the Path workbench will grep them

you can enter manuell G-code to get this done
or simply draw a sketch of the path yopu like and select it
with standard path along edge

can you please add the freecad file to see whats going on
yuo shoudt be able to pick almost every construction point on all sketches you made for Datumplane
you need one more sketch for the loft to be completed
and the plane is just a known offset to a base plane

this will give you a better performence
