Re: Failure creating job using template

1) Different OSs - MacOS vs Win10 - might be a factor. 2) You're on a more recent version than I am - the win10 version hasn't been updated in a number of days. I'll wait until it finally gets updated and try again.

Thanks for trying anyway...

Re: Failure creating job using template

1) THe file IS a json file - I had to change the extension to be able to attach it. json is not acceptable (probably for security reasons, or the authors of the forum software never throught of it.) :D 2) I did NOT use any fancy characters - I'm too lazy for that, and only really speak English (my G...

Re: GCode editor performance on big data

I recently learned about the --no-show-editor option in the job setup. I usually use NotePad++, which has a gcode syntax plugin available to do colorizing, to look at gcode. It opens a 1053KB gcode file in about 1 second; you could try that. I'm sure there are editors on Linux with equivalent perfor...

Re: Bizarre Generated Code from Millface Operation?

Further observations: (1) Pocket3D with the zigzagoffet operation exhibits the same bizarre behavior. I changed to using the outline operation and that seems to act as expected. (2) In the generated code (grbl postprocessor) each operation used to start and end with comments identifying the operatio...

Re: Bizarre Generated Code from Millface Operation?

It's not urgent - I have my wasteboard surfaced adequately. But I wanted to point out a problem. Now that others have reproduced it, I'm confident it will be tracked down and squashed quickly. :D

Re: Bizarre Generated Code from Millface Operation?

I double checked twice and the --no-show-editor argument is definitely set. The file is attached. Also, I had started running the simulator - and it had repeated the paths more than twice - when my wife called for dinner. When I came back roughly 35 minutes later the simulator was still running. The...
