Re: Sketchup STL Model used with Fasteners workbench for inner thread

As already said, upgrade to version 0.19 and remake complete model in FC. Personally I wouldn't even think of 3D printing threads as fine as M3 or M5 unless you use a 0.1 layer height and 0.25 nozzle. Tapping holes can be done but you risk striping the threads out with the tap. PLA can be a bit crum...

Re: 0.19 Thread on Shaft with Fastners - possible?

Just throw a helix on the end and cut whatever shape thread you like.

I would have put the file up but I got an error message saying file too large. (1.711Mb)

Re: Really silly problem

Re: Sketcher Constraints checkbox -- What does it do?

It turns on and off the visibility and selection of the constraint (in red). Sometimes a sketch can get very busy with constraints and selection of end points etc. can be difficult so you can hide the ones that are getting in the way.

Re: Modeling challenge from two view drawing

On reviewing I think the triangle surface from the back shelf upward that "Bance" shows is the correct solution. Haven't worked out how to link in someone's name yet :( .

Re: Modeling challenge from two view drawing
