Re: Command panel

I did think of adding such ability in the past already. But i feel that somehow PieMenu is more suitable for such use case? Yes and no. In SW I use them both for different functions. If this isn't too complicated it would be nice to have it. It already does that. ;) How to do that? Is the same func...

Can you do that this commands could be invoked (option) with some shortcut key and show under mouse position. This would be perfect for me :) If could contain different icons depending of workbench (automatic) would be additional enchancement.

Selection edges/faces improvement

Hi, IMHO when working with models, it would be better to select edges of model (or faces) whitout ctrl button, I think this would improve workflow (working with spacemouse), maybe there is such option but I cannot find it. Also it would be perfect to choose at least OK/Cancel from under RMB. What do...

Re: Manipulator WorkBench

Also, while its competitors have explored the direct editing way, Solidworks has remained feature-based parametric (like FreeCAD's PartDesign), and it's still the most used 3D CAD program in the mid-range market. Almost agreed, excluding this point. Popularity of SW is thanks to piracy as I know, n...

Re: The Big TechDraw Comments Thread

Some loose suggestions to discuss about some improvements: - Panning drawing sheet shouldn't be by LMP because by mistake you can move drawing window which is also movable by LMB. I suggest RMB or Scroll Wheel. - Icons should be first choosable (as in sketcher) then lines or points, to create dimen...

Re: Extruding closed contours from sketch

Here is one example to give a small taste of it... There is one sketch (pink) that rules all of this, the best part of it however is that it is stable, hopefully :) If this what I think, and look so, then it's very good news! I posted many times about multi closed shapes extrudes from one sketch by...

Thanks JoshM. I am on Windows. I try to follow https://github.com/aewallin/opencamlib/ ... er/Windows right now I am downloading visual studio to compile boost. I'll let know when I'll turn it on and it would start working.

I create Facing Operation (no 3d surface on my version) and then I choose all rounded surfaces and generate mesh, but only what I've got after simulation was flat surface on top not over all rounded edges. Why? Because of that OLC?

Edit: What is OLC and where to get this?
