Re: Part Design Roadmap

Hi, sorry for my absence during last month, the stall is my fault... I hope I'm not too late... The current state of my branch is the same it was: I just started to port ickby 's workarounds bus sucked a bit, and when got some other tasks that consumed almost all my free time... I believe I'll finis...

Re: PartDesign Loft

Well not realy, currently I have no real time to work on this. hmm... ok... There is no use case for reordering the first sketch, only the other ones you select additional. Also it is the same for sweep if you make a multi-profile sweep. Hmm... I wasn't aware of multisection sweeps and how they wor...

Re: App::Part question

1. a rough porting of Part workbench to the "Part" object (partially unfinished, I did not test the "Group" behaviour yet and there are no real checks if a tool is used with document objects from different parts) To be noted unless we will polish up Part's internal management, I'd suggest to remove...

Re: PartDesign Loft

Thanks for explanations... can I assume you are onto this and I may not to bother myself to fix it more than I need? A Loft (and sweep) are based on sketches. The key difference of Loft from others (including the sweep) is that it must have several sketches with equivalent meaning, and it doesn't ma...

Re: App::Part question

I'm ready enough to merge with other people workarounds... https://github.com/Fat-Zer/FreeCAD_sf_master/tree/AMM-bodyBaseFeature Branch name: AMM-bodyBaseFeature Major changes: Parts are now DocumentGroup subclass with chain of intermediate classes with specific responsibility Body have it's own ori...

PartDesign Loft

Ok, I've got some questions about PartDesign's loft... Why TaskLoftParameters.ui have two additional hidden widgets under stackedWidget? it's accidentally or on some purpose? ickby , why you haven't used TopoShape::makeLoft()? I remember I've asked but don't remember the answer... Also there are som...

Re: Problems styling FreeCAD

7. What seems to be a QLineEdit inside Properties View I don't know what this element is because I'm not able to style it... it seems to be a normal QLineEdit but it doesn't... This one is just a QPushButton with a drawn rectangle on it, no styling is possible here (unless it will be rewriten in C+...

Re: How DatumPlane's supposed to be displayed

Please pardo the intrusion, I'd like to suggest that we keep the rectangular shape, but add transparency please (it's been a while since I used this branch, but last time I used it I was unable to change transparency even in the Object's properties from GUI.) Datums are semi-transparent by default ...
