Hi Dirk, Du denkst nicht zu kompliziert sondern mit zu wenig vertrauen in die Technik (auch wenn man der Technik nicht zuuu viel zutrauen darf...) Wenn Du die 2 Motore einer Achse einmal eingestellt hast, dann ändert sich da nichts mehr daran, - außer es dreht jemand an einer Spindel wenn die Maschi...

Like sayd above: Carpenter have a lot of endmills with different shapes, here 2 examples:

Wenn Du sie nur unten am Flansch befestigst kann ich mir das schon vorstellen. Kommt aber halt auch auf das Material an das bearbeitet wird... Ich würde ein U Profil nehmen als Spindelträger. Can you explain more? Let's assume I have three operations, the last one uses a much longer tool, which needs 300 mm of free height to be changed. Then I set the clearance height of the second op to 300 so that the mill goes up to that height at the end of the second op. In my mind that's theoretic...

Hi Dirk, Ja ich sehe auch Vorteile mit den zwei Spindeln habe aber etwas Angst davor diese zu Synchronisieren. ich kann nicht nachvollziiehen vovor Du da Angst hast.... Weshalb sollen die nicht synchron laufen? Du gibst beiden Seiten den gleichen Impuls, also drehen sich die Motore auch gleich weit....

Hi Russel,
if i remember right, Pocket supports pockets without bottom, 3D Pocket don't support it. In my mind it's good to have this behavior of Pocket...
