Re: seltsame Geisterbilder

Ein Array besteht immer noch aus einzelnen Elementen. Wähle das Array und wende darauf "verbinden von Mauerelementen" an. Danach kannst Du den Quader abziehen.

Re: Vertical Feed rates in partially-vertical cuts

Hi Pekka, keep tool down eliminates (did it sometimes before for me to...) the not needed up and down. If the tool is not going up, ramp entry calculates the angle from the right level and it works correct. so I am happy to implement it in better way when some sort of conclusion is reached how it sh...

Re: Vertical Feed rates in partially-vertical cuts

What is difficult is the determining the best strategy. I experimented with ramp rates some time back, and I decided that I did not want the full horizontal feed rate. Others clearly have different needs. yep... in my mind it's not possible to find ONE best strategy for that. So, if you want to cal...

Re: Vertical Feed rates in partially-vertical cuts

OK herbk, you chastised me for not considering woodworking. Now I will return the favor by telling you that cutting in stainless steel is different. :D I would not want the normal horizontal feed rate for ramped cuts. It would be hard on the cutters. Gene It's a "question" of the ramp angle... the ...

Re: Vertical Feed rates in partially-vertical cuts

Hi, a "ramp entry path" (with a reasonable set angle) don't need a reduced feedrate. Using ramp entry always (mostly, - there are not many reasons why not) moves the "cutting side" to the cutting edge off the tool and you can work with full feedrate (thats the reason why i suggested to use ramp entr...
