Feed- and Speedrate

Hi, let me show an other suggstion...: In this time feed- and speedrate are boundet at the tooltable (means: each tool uses the same feed and speed). From a technical perspective is this wrong. Iff you drill a hole you need an other spindle speed as with an end mill. If you use a 15mm drill you can ...

Re: Test suite for Path Workbench

Hi, some automatet testings could not be bad to find bugs in programming work, like mlampert (Markus?) said. My skills in programming are, maybe level -2 (ore something like that), and i'm very happy for each automatet improving (for my little arduino sketches) i can get... In my mind one "problem" ...

Re: surface don't work

Hi sliptonic, some thing whats "going oround" some time in most operations: if you select something, the start depht gets always an aditional 0. As example here on "contour": contour1.jpg The high of the part is 12mm, but the window shows 120mm. If the part is 8mm high it shows 80, - and so on... Al...

Re: Drilling does not work

Good Morning, here drilling doesn't work at it should, also with more than one hole to drill and there is more than one problem i think.. If you have more holes to drill you get a drilling path for each hole, but not for that you made first in construction. As example: the first cutt for a hole i ma...

Re: surface don't work

Good morning, Kidding aside, you have multiple Parts (in FC terminology) which you want to machine concurrently. The question is what kind of support you would like from the Path WB, and how that should look like? Hm... not an easy question... I am one of that guys which like to have control for tha...

Re: surface don't work

Hi mlampert, Personally I'm not very familiar with the router workflow. If you could write that up, we can start looking into it. I'l try - and made a sample part, i think with some pics its more easy. The part is not realy difficulty und if i realy have to make it, i will make all with the same too...

Re: surface don't work

Good morning sliptonic, good morning mlampert, You don't see any reasons but trust me, they are there. That i realy trust, no doubt... And if a "old way" to do somethig has too many limits you have to go a "new way", - also no doubt. I only want to point out early, if, in my mind, some "problems" co...

Re: surface don't work

Hi mlampert, Do you have an idea on how to make all ops work the same? All operations, which are implemented before the change from "project" to "job" as base for path operations, working at that way, that they are returning the base geometrie and the face (or edges) by clicking on a face. Only the ...

Re: Patch drill no center

Creating that hole is not typically a "DRILLING" operation. I think you are right which is why I built drilling to only allow selection of closed cylindrical faces and closed circular edges. But this raises an interesting point. What if he wants to drill those holes while the stock is still intact ...
