The validator wouldn't have complained for coincidence constraints which you should have used. If you are in doubt, remove the point-on-object constraint. Then move the endpoint somewhat off the circle. If you reapply it, and the point snaps to its new position, then it's only a visualization issue....

Nein (außer bei CheckGeometry), nein und nein. FreeCAD ist im Wesentlichen single-threaded.

The seemingly unconnected end of the circle shouldn't be a problem. It is only a display issue to be seen on heavy zoom in.

I think I can create a macro by using related bits from FCCamera, which will "align the orientation regarding to the surface normal and then create the projection. Such a macro could indeed help, or perhaps Mario cares to include it? I would like to see the possibility to turn the camera around the...

Torus shows quite some OCC errors, there is probably not much FreeCAD can do.

It would be interesting if a homemade torus made with a revolve shows the same issue. Care to test it?
