Although, thinking about how the whole thing works, am I being optimistic to *expect* that I should be able to change the angles by that much at a time?
Is it just limited to small angle changes at a time, by the nature of the solving approach?

Assembly 3 - angle constraints
Hi All, Have been playing again with Assembly 3 - I just put together a little test file with a base, then a plate that can be elevated, and on top of that a pointer that should be able to revolve through 0-360 degrees. You can set the elevation and pointer angle in the properties of the MyConstrain...

Re: Cycles render engine setup
Yes, with a great deal of help from Vectronic - this is on MacOS though. Instructions here:

It works very nicely though once you've got it going, so worth persisting!

Re: Filleting - Is this a bug?
Thank you Chrisb, but what about if I want just three edges of a cube face filleted... ? You can try using a "subtractive pipe" for this - create a sketch with the profile, then choose the edges to apply it to - see attached file. The nice thing with this is you can create any shape of fi...

Re: Simple named constraints
you can add properties, right click on the properties list. Ah, that's the kind of thing I was looking for, thanks a lot!!! A note for anyone else trying this (in 0.19), you need to choose "Show all" in the right click menu before the option to "Add property" appears. Although, ...
