Re: Pad/Extrude to solid/compound face

Please note, I think you may have missed that the top of the box is not flat Yeah, I did miss that, I was in a rush, I had to go feed a goat...literally. :) I live on my property in the Australian outback. My pet goat Chloe had twins a few days ago, Clover and Hazel, very cute... I digress. What's ...

Re: How to make rectangle with round edges? (topic is about "Sketcher Slot" )

I have also question on how do I constraint the shape with rounded edges so that I could specify length from top to bottom instead of side? If for some strange reason you actually do want to constraint the over all length in the manner you are saying, one simple method, first define the diameter/ra...

Re: How to make rectangle with round edges?

Why is that length grayed out? Because you have toggled it into "driven mode" which is sort of a bit like construction mode is to geometry. A constraint in driven mode reads data out of the sketch rather than defining the value, hence the constraint is being "driven" by the sketch rather than drivi...

Re: Pad/Extrude to solid/compound face

Hi Jeff Can anyone suggest a workaround? Document attached. Honestly your model is a complete mess, you need to start all over again. Thank you for adding the file, it does help. If I changed any parametric dimensions the filter would select the wrong parts and make a mess. Yes, that is right, so if...

Re: 3D planar image works on v0.17 but not on v0.18

Try it in 0.19, likely one of its over 6 thousand bug fix and new feature updates could be relevant.

Development snapshots of 0.19 have been available approximately weekly for a very long time.

Bugs in 0.18 are irrelevant now, unless they also exist in 0.19.

Re: Juntar dois corpos em 1

my guess is that you had more than one thing selected when you exported to an STL file, so FreeCAD made more than one STL mesh.

Meu palpite é que você selecionou mais de uma coisa ao exportar para um arquivo STL, então o FreeCAD fez mais de uma malha STL. traduzido pelo Google.

Re: Freecad Segfaulting

I cannot share this model. Is there any chance you could remodel something similar/using similar tools etc. that can reproduce this bug? Is there any chance that your model has a fillet feature? If so could you save a copy, delete the fillet and see if the crash continues? That is perhaps a long sh...

Re: Keep multiple dimensions connected to wrong coincidence point

Sounds like you are talking about constraints in sketcher.

I can suggest a work around for your scenario, don't delete edge A just toggle it into construction mode.

I was thinking of using Checkgeometry feature.
that would work, "Check Geometry" has been improved in FreeCAD 0.19

You could also run some Python code, but by the time you did that you may as well have run Check Geometry if you are talking about doing this in the GUI.
