Q_WS_MACX preprocessor macro

Hi, during the Qt5 port I have ran across a strange #if using a Q_WS_MACX. Where is it defined? I can't find it in Qt documentation. Is it a bug or am I missing something? Proposed fix is here: https://github.com/f3nix/FreeCAD/commit/fac5e0b430ef6494ccd26be08cd810292dbaf07b I would really appreciate...

Re: Failed to build git/master

Hi Jim! :) To solve this build problem you have to rebuild OCE. It depends on libfreeimage. HTH. Cheers, Mateusz hello all To be accurate OCE does not necessarily depend on freeimage, by default it does not, when compiling from OCE source, the package may depend because it has been compile with that...

Re: Failed to build git/master

Hi, Hi, I use to build regularily git/master. But since a couple of days, it failed. cmake seems to be happy (as usual): see the log attached. But the make command fails with the following: Scanning dependencies of target Driver [ 0%] Building CXX object src/3rdParty/salomesmesh/CMakeFiles/Driver.di...

Re: Precision issues with 3d printing and STL files

Given that this is reproducible, my assumption is that the .stl file is off. How would I go about debugging (and fixing) this? you can try to print a 20mm cube exported from freecad and eg. this one: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:34553 and post the results here. What type of printer is it? SLA, ...

Re: Virus detected FreeCAD uninstall.exe quarantined

Re: CMAKE conditionals in python code

Hi, while doing some research for Pyside/Pyside2 coexistence I've found this: It's an interesting idea but AFAICS the problem remains to inform the pre-processor which #define must be set and this means something additional must happen either at configure time or at compile time. you are absolutely ...

Re: CMAKE conditionals in python code

Hi,
while doing some research for Pyside/Pyside2 coexistence I've found this:

https://github.com/evanplaice/pypreprocessor

And here is a page with some examples (old project page)
https://code.google.com/p/pypreprocessor/

Cheers,

Re: Need help from C++/Qt gurus

Hi, As a proper fix we have to find a solution to remove the inheritance from QObject. Maybe C++ boost provides an alternative or we could implement something on our own or maybe it's possible to use QObject as an aggregation instead of inheritance. I had some time to tinker with this. My first appr...

Re: Qt4/Qt5 neutral compilation fixes

Hi, Here is the latest branch rebased on current master: What else must be done for the Qt5 port other than that? Maybe we should leave the current master as is and do the complete porting to Qt5 in a separate branch (e.g. yours) but remove all old Qt4 stuff. What do you think? to make things clear....
