ping Did anything change? I tested the following appimage and the 0.19 from ppa and both do not work. In 0.18 the Elmer solver is not run correctly. Only stating "Executing solver..." in the task-view but nothing more. Therefore, no .vtu files can be read back into FC. Manually executing Elmersolve...

Yes, it's already in the upstream. I did test it with the 0.19_pre appimage and noticed that no solids are listed. Is it possible to add solids as well?
