Re: Elmer Static current equation

The freetextinputs dialogues for bodyforces for all related Elmer equations are implemented and tested. Please see https://github.com/berndhahnebach/FreeCAD_bhb/pull/83 . One can use the following model to test the influence of e.g. self-weight body force element in comparison to a free-text-input-e...

Re: FEM: Status of old GMSH interface PR and discussion of STL meshing through GMSH

Hello Johannes,

Do you have any documentation on how to compile gmsh for multi threading?
I only found http://gmsh.info/doc/texinfo/gmsh.html# ... ource-code but this is not really satisfying.

... multi threading in the GMSH....
Sounds very interesting!
So, is it now under way or not :D
The "EDIT" from joha2 in the first post suggests it is already in the pipeline?!

Re: GSoC2020, FEM: extend examples

By the way, apart from the logs, I have started writing blogs on my GSoC experience. So they can be found here: https://hacksd.wordpress.com/2020/07/22/gsoc-days-intro/ Also, I noticed that we don't have any examples on the following constraints: 1. Constraint plane rotation 2. Constraint bearing 3...

Re: GSoC2020, FEM: extend examples

Can you please implement that the examples are opened on doubleclick.
I always double click and than realize that I do have to press run.
