Re: Manipulator WorkBench

Could you please share the "ui" files for this workbench? I would like to try and improve the 4k display support. Hi @Mateusz I've just uploaded the ui files... I haven't put the png files to the buttons, because you have already the svg files that I use inside the code. Please feel free to ask if ...

Re: Utility to inspect OpenCascade models

Yet another update: I have finally compiled Analysis Situs on Linux (Ubuntu18_04) and it seems to work pretty much as expected. If anybody wants to give it a try, the master branch of the Git repo is Linux-ready (though, cmake scripts might deserve some more polishing; also there is a big deal of c...

Re: Position of a .step file and references - Manipulator vs. Transform

@easyw-fc: I have seen this great Manipulator tutorial of yours, but sometimes, using the aligner tool (and selecting objects in the right order, 1st is fixed, 2nd moves) nothing moves, or for some reason all the elements move together (resulting in no relative movement) . I'm sure it has to do wit...

Re: Step non solid after import, Varicad viewer produces solid

I have the impression that it has been better and somehow got worse within the last weeks. Wilfried I don't think so... from your file it seems the step model has some issues (overlapping or similar) Varicad probably has a sort of auto healing... btw I found in many case the opposite... FC was load...

Zipped I upload the two files. The original file of my customer was created in Cimatron.
Hi @freecad-heini-1

Re: Ticket #3834 - Loss of coordinate systems during .stp (AP214) import/export

I am working on something for one of my friends. I have created a gantry design in freecad but after I exported it to step, all the objects are all over the shop. In FC 0.18 if your objects are inside 'Part' containers and those containers have a Placement different from (0,0,0), you will need to a...

Re: FreeCAD packaged for web similar to onshape

I will be putting this out as open source of one type or another here soon. For the code I developed and the docker file to build the image I am thinking of using https://www.gnu.org/licenses/agpl-3.0.en.html . That would force any one who deploys as a public cloud service to release any modificati...
