Re: Trailer Deck

That's a great looking model! Nice work! Muchos Gratias compatriot Very thank for these explanation. This is also my worries when learning assembly modules. Most distinguished welcomed Yup, definitely we have to fix this soon... Looking forward, they are great tools to use never the less, if there ...

Re: [Feature Request] Assign Material property to ‘Make Compound of Several Shapes’

Hey there! You can add whatevery property you want to FC objects. Just right click on the property panel, show all, and add property. Of course the object will just have the property, how this property is handled by the object and by modifiers/exporters entirely depend on them... This is good news,...

Re: Trailer Deck

Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing. What assembly module is used in this project? I did not use an assembly module, I modelled it directly in in, and group the objects using Part Combine. and for the deck, i modelled it in another file and use the "place external reference" to link them both. I had...

[Feature Request] Assign Material property to ‘Make Compound of Several Shapes’

Hello everyone who is in this cool community, I have a few features to request that I think to make a great enhancement to Freecad. It would be great for the “ Make Compound of Several Shapes ” to have at least the “ material ” property option. Highlighted in Yellow, but if possible to have the othe...

Re: Trailer Deck

Cool ! From Architect to Industrial Engineer (?) why limit myself ? haha no, but I figured i needed a good base (template trailer) to get started from, u know every house needs a good foundation, without it, u r flying on thin air. Besides I needed to find out what other great updates u guys ...

Trailer Deck

Hello guys, I've decided to take a stab at modelling a tiny home project, This project should get me acquainted with some of the latests developments in freecad and test new approach to design using a combination of open source programs. So get get a good base for the design I made a trailer + deck ...

Re: [Sketch] circle tangent constrain issue

My guess: when you first created your circle you didn't really move the mouse to draw the circumference. Together with Autoconstraints=on a tangency constraint with the x- or y-axis was created, yielding a radius of 0. Recovery: Delete the tangency. Yeah I think you have a point here, when i drew t...

I'm also having trouble contraining a circle to the projection circle, so i'm not sure if these two issues are related. 286.129 <App> Document.cpp(3715): Failed to recompute TRAILER#Sketch024: Solving the sketch failed Recompute failed! Re: [Discussion] A different approach to BIM modelling (BIM Assembly?)

That can be easily automated to match the joined wall seamlessly... :D prova join.gif EDIT: thinking about this tonight. This is not the right approach. The wall should be dumb instead, and I think we need another object, a kind of solver to compute the wall joinings and to keep track of them, so w...
