I had a quick look at the link, it wanted me to log in to see whatever this topic is about, so I ignored the topic. It sounds like you might be trying to write a book, so why call this topic "Building a FreeCAD Plan" which sounds more like you are talking about a plan for FreeCAD's development goal...

you could try to export the one from your dwg to dxf, import it to FC... the autocad-pic is taken from an pdf-file. I never get dwg from the cad-technicians, because they know that I have no autocad. ;) :o then you can try to open the pdf in inkscape and save the person as svg or dxf, then import i...

I also find whenever I update an Arch objects which are included in the ArchView, it seems the ArchView / TechDraw drawings sheets automatically update so that each changes in the Arch Objects resulted in loooooong pause. Any Idea? or any thing I missed? :lol: :D hehe missed anything? nah I don't t...

I find when I add an Arch Door in ArchView in TechDraw, there is an error and the door, the door opening etc. are not shown. (either ArchDoor is added to an Arch Wall then added to ArchView; OR just a self-standing door added to ArchView yield the same error message...) Any idea? Thanks. Door added...
