Re: Another approach to assembly solver (A2plus)
Perhaps you applied a cut of Part-WB to shapes inside of bodies of PartDesign. This is not allowed and would lead to your wrong result. Hi, that was it. I made it for a long time, to cut in the Part-WB, what I have created in PartDesign. From the documentation of the Part-WB it is allowed to use Pa...

Re: Another approach to assembly solver (A2plus)
Hi, if I add a part to an assembly, which is a Part Cut it is not displayed as a cut, but as a compound. It makes no difference if I add the cut directly or put it first in a newly created PartDesign body. Left one is like it looks, right how it should look. a2p-cut.png And then a other cosmetic one...

Re: Welche PC Leistung?

Re: Another approach to assembly solver (A2plus)
this only happens if you have the option "Recalculate imported parts before updating them (experimental)" in preferences. Do you really need this ? Otherwise deactivate this option. (It was intended for people who are working with master spreadsheets, related to multiple files.) But never...

Re: Another approach to assembly solver (A2plus)
Hi, please make sure that the within the mainassembly, the subassembly object has the property "update Colors" set to True. Then touch once the subassembly file (open and save it) and update the main assembly. Hi, thank you for the hint. In the mean time I've pulled the new version of a2p...

Re: Another approach to assembly solver (A2plus)
Hi, I have the problem, that sub-assemblies lose their colors if I import them in other assemblies. I have always the current version of FreeCAD and a2plus from git, and I may be totally wrong, but I think that since a few days ago all worked like as expected and the colors where kept. Is there some...

Re: Segmentation fault in Part::Desing rotate sketch
The problem remains for me also with a new build of the current git master.
To get around it, it helped, to first remove the "point on object" constraint, move the left-most vertical line a little bit, rotate the sketch and than re-add the "point on object" constraint.

Segmentation fault in Part::Desing rotate sketch
Hi, FreeCAD crashes for me reproducible if I try to rotate the sketch in the attached file around the horizontal sketch axis. To reproduce: Start FreeCAD choose the PardDesign workbench open the attached file activate the body select the sketch click on "rotate the selected sketch" (auf de...
