Re: Mesh Object Base Problem

ae1723b946 At the moment this requires that the shape must be near to the mesh already and then you define a maximum distance. However, it's not the same as the parallel projection offered by OCCT for projecting on shapes. Instead it seems to project it in a way that the projection direction for ea...

Re: Mesh Object Base Problem

Currently there are some mesh algorithms that don't respect the placement. To overcome this limitation you can apply the placement directly on the geometry, i.e. the mesh points are directly changed.

Code: Select all

CopyMesh = Surface.Mesh.copy()
CopyMesh.transform(Surface.Mesh.Placement.toMatrix())

Re: Back port commits to 0.18 branch

The OpenCamLib shouldn't be an issue for v0.18 because it was added to v0.19 only. So nothing to do for v0.18 unless I missed something?

Re: Mesh Object Base Problem

CopyMesh = Surface.Mesh.copy()
This only copies the mesh data but not the placement information. So, you have to also add

Code: Select all

CopyMesh.Placement = Surface.Mesh.Placement
I think this is a bug and should be fixed.

Re: Directly control inputfield units

You can change the quantity type, the format of how floats should be displayed or the number of decimals but you cannot change the unit scheme. At the moment this always follows on what is set in the preferences. In order to support this the InputField class must be adjusted. Feel free to open a fea...

Re: Appveyor is timing out

According to the second log it fails somewhere in TestPartDesignApp. When looking into the first log where it succeeds TestPartDesignApp doesn't seem to be called.
