Re: Z surface bending

This should be pretty easy to implement. The way the dressup works is to take the probe input data, construct a surface and then use the surface to bilinear interpolate the gcode points. It should be easy to just make the dressup take an existing surface and use that instead. So you could model the ...

Re: 3Dsurface unnecessary repeat on exit.

These are legitimate issues but I wouldn't expect a fast response. We have so many fish to fry (both large and small) that this level of optimization is likely going to have to wait. If course, if it's scratching someone enough, they'll itch it.

Re: Break signal for 3Dsurface

I believe we're limited to what opencamlib can do. I'm not aware of a way to break a recompute once opencamlib has been called.

Re: 3Dsurface: where is direction of cut?

There's 'cut pattern angle' available if you have cut pattern set to zigzag or line.

Re: New Property: Feed Rate Factor [Canceled]

Is the issue that the tool change code is being inserted even if no actual tool change is occurring?

It should be easy to fix the post-processor to suppress those unnecessary moves.

Re: Let's Critique !!

See, this is the same thing happen with LibreCAD forum too, nobody likes the critiques and I already mentioned that we both, CAD Engineer and Developers are coming from different profession... There are two things wrong with that statement. The first is that it's a gross generalization which isn't ...

Development Roadmap

Somebody linked to the the development roadmap page on reddit. This page has had very few significant changes since 2014. Mostly just translation related stuff. I think this page either needs to be removed entirely or it needs to be re-thought and turned into something useful. In my mind, the things...

Re: Positioning cycle - vertices

In my mind, there's a big difference between 2+ sided milling and 4th/5th axis operations. Let's use the term 'set-up' to refer to the process where the user establishes a positional relationship between the Part/Stock and the machine coordinates. Right now, a Job is equivalent to a single set-up. E...

And again a great video!
How did you make the animation of the parts added with the smooth appearing?
I saved a view position in case I had to move anything and then took lots of screenshots. Easy to do the transitions in KDEnlive. I'd like to find a more efficient way to do it though.
