Re: Mac pre-release download way behind Windows version

@peterl94, @brusk, @sgrogen - Build 0.16_pre-19fd2c3 built and deployed by Travis to Github. Removed libspnav and sync'd to master through commit 19fd3c3. Working on the unified build config but traveling from west coast to east coast tomorrow so not sure how rapid the progress will be... Examined t...

Re: FreeCAD model between Linux & Mac OS X

Are you sure that you had the Part or PartDesign WB loaded when you ran "Help ....about FreeCAD"? This normally happens when you have not switch to one of those two WBes. For example by default FreeCAD will start in "Start" WB. You are spot on - thanks. Now, I just wish we could get to the root cau...

Re: FreeCAD model between Linux & Mac OS X

another thought, it may be a difference in some precision value some where. By the way your screen shots seem to be rather slow to load, I guess are large images, it is best to scale them to something close to what they will be displayed anyway Apologies!!! I have edited my original post accordingl...

Re: Mac pre-release download way behind Windows version

@brusk, so do you have PySide installed in /usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages? And it worked with no Qt problems? @blacey, I noticed libspnav is in the bundle. That is a linux thing, and it pulls in X11. We would need to find someway to install the 3dconnexion framework in order to get 3dconnex...

Re: Mac pre-release download way behind Windows version

@brusk, the library search paths for the libs in your traceback all look good... @rpath means that the app is relocatable and there aren't any absolute paths that are not standard OS X system libraries... Also, it is complaining about missing symbols so it is finding the libs but referencing symbols...

Re: Mac pre-release download way behind Windows version

I'm getting this running your travis-ci build: dlopen(/Users/tuk/Downloads/FreeCAD.app/Contents/lib/python2.7/lib-dynload/_io.so, 2): Symbol not found: __PyCodecInfo_GetIncrementalDecoder Referenced from: /Users/tuk/Downloads/FreeCAD.app/Contents/lib/python2.7/lib-dynload/_io.so Expected in: flat n...

FreeCAD model between Linux & Mac OS X

I am using the latest Mac OS X build from https://github.com/bblacey/FreeCAD-MacOS-CI/releases that was built with travis-ci and includes all FreeCAD master commits up through commit d6920a0… The impetus for creating a more recent Mac OS X build was due to the issue I reported here - http://forum.fr...

Re: Mac pre-release download way behind Windows version

Hey Bruce, Have you tried running the build on your machine? I had a conflict with the Qt I have installed and the one in the bundle (both were loaded). I've had this problem before, but I don't remember what I did to fix it. The latest build runs great on my machine but perhaps that is because I d...

Re: Mac pre-release download way behind Windows version

Leveraging @peterl94's and @brusks's prior art, we forged initial travis-ci Mac OS X builds for FreeCAD. What this means is that the FreeCAD Mac OS X builds should be able to maintain cadence with the Linux and Windows builds - ideally built once per day or even with each commit against the official...

Re: Mac pre-release download way behind Windows version

Cool, I didn't have that problem though. My problem was that NavigationToolbar2QTAgg is renamed to NavigationToolbar2Q in the latest matplotlib. Don't you get an error if you import Plot Plot.figure("TrigonometricTest") in FreeCAD's Python Console? You are correct! My first approach was to install ...
