Re: TechDraw question

A bit more food for thought
I include this drawing of the same base plate which was done last year in FC V0.16 using Dimension Drawing WB on this same (HP Z1 G3 Workstation).
As you can see the dimensions are fine.
Hopefully it might fuel the grey matters out there.
Thanks again folks.

Re: TechDraw question

Thanks for your input people, have tried changing the DPI set and various other settings, still no luck. Attached file for your perusal. Could there be any conflicts between Drawing Dimension and TechDraw workbenches? If I remove DD WB from V0.18 it also removes it from V0.16 which I might still req...

Re: TechDraw question

Thanks for the info' I have tried both chrisb options to no avail. I believe my PC (or part of it) is not totally compatible to FreeCad, with the problems I have with reduced size and squashed submenus and now these TechDraw issues and probably more which I have not used yet. I am NOT computer orien...

Re: TechDraw question

Yes, it is Techdraw, however DrawingDimensioning is present as I still have V0.16 on board, I had same problems with DD but managed to overcome them but cannot remember how.

Buffalo Springfield steam road roller

Buffalo Springfield steam road roller Ca 1924 also known as 'Coffee pot' I put this together around April 2019 took around 4 weeks to complete, quite an interesting model to generate. Freecad V16 used at that time with Assembly2 WB Plans from JDW, http://www.vapeuretmodelesavapeur.com/telechargement...

Re: Sub menu sizes ( for the want of a better term )

Thanks for responding to my query, unfortunately I have no idea how to make the changes you suggest in the Macro's dialogues as I do not understand the Python language in the slightest and would not know where to start.

Sub menu sizes ( for the want of a better term )

Hi All, Not being a programmer I do not know what would be involved in this request, if even doable. Briefly, in some cases sub menus are squashed and some very small, is it possible for all sub and main menus to have resize capabilities, including the input boxes and text. I was kindly helped some ...

Re: 4 cylinder steam engine

Sorry guys, Assembly file for this engine is 2,165 KB and is to large for me to upload.
As vocx noted most of my files are in FC V0.16, V0.17 was not stable on my machine and so had to wait for V0.18 which I am now using, I will upgrade to V0.19 when the stable release is available.
