ARCH Section and Techdraw ArchView not clipping

How does one go about clipping an ARCH Section within a Techdraw ArchView. I created an ARCH Section that includes a lot of objects but with a height and length that effectually clips the included objects. When I add the ARCH section to a Techdraw ArchView, the height and length properties of the Ar...

What causes "Document::recompute(): Wall007 still touched after recompute"

In the report view, I am seeing the following error.

Document::recompute(): Wall007 still touched after recompute

What does it mean?

I searched the forums and could not find any explanation.

Upside down door

I'm familiarizing myself with doors and windows and comparing the behavior of Windows-7 versus Ubuntu 18.04.2 versions of FreeCad. I run into a situation where Ubuntu-FreeCad is creating upside down doors. I performed the following sequence of events. On windows-7, I created a model having a single ...

Re: Anomolous behavior in property box

Has a ticket been created? If not, should I do it?

I find the bug to be most annoying. If I want to work with numbers in the property pages, I have to change units.

Re: Anomolous behavior in property box

I tried all 8 units schemas and found that only the "Building US" units exhibited the anomalous behavior I described in my first post.

Re: Anomolous behavior in property box

On Ubuntu 18.04.02 it is linked to the units. When I change the units to metric, then the property value is not changed when I click in the value box.

ARCH - How to model gravel and backfill

I am designing a house that has a frost protected shallow foundation and I need to model the pads of compacted gravel that are under the footings of the building. I model the pads as ARCH Structures. However, there is a property that is causing me some issues. For the material, I would like to say t...
