Did not have time before, just made a quick test.
Did try it today and pasting the above code in the python console and then restarting FreeCAD did give me the correct icons.

Re: IconThemes

I think we still need a python version of that bitmapfactory function that checks for theme icons? Not sure about that, using the standard approach should likely do: DraftTrayAndSnap.png I added support for Draft Snap and Tray toolbars in such way: https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/pull/1977 Basic...

Indeed this worked, but does this appimage account for daily releases aswell?
PPA based AppImage is in general considered to be a daily one indeed, Conda based AppImage is currently updated weekly (Monday).

Re: clear python API documentation

Where can i find a clear and up-to-date python api documention? https://www.freecadweb.org/api/index.html is c++ and unclear and https://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/FreeCAD_API is clear but old and not complete. I get my actual documentation from the tooltips in the python console but is there a better...

Re: How to start Freecad with Python 3 ?

If you don't want to compile FreeCAD yourself, you can try out AppImage:

https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/releases/

Conda based one offers Py3/Qt5 build and PPA based one Py2/Qt4 build.

Re: meshing problem

Hi triplus, still the failure is same. For time being it impossible to work with FC daily, only appimage is working. Qt tools are not available. best regards Peter Hi Peter. If you have the latest FreeCAD 0.18 installed and pasting this in FreeCAD Python console results in import errors: from PySid...
