Re: Workbench switcher

OK but just one question before i do that. On Wiki Artwork page list of workbench icons is not complete.

https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/ ... ench_icons

I use custom icons now but i would like to use "official" ones and i was wondering where would i get them?

Re: Workbench switcher

I also liked the context menu wb switcher idea... In the context menu we could have a subgroup with all the workbenches, this would be fast and easy to use... I am not sure this would be the best solution user still would have to move between all workbenches and not only the ones that are used and ...

Re: Workbench switcher

IMO having the workbenches as toolbar buttons is a bad idea because it requires too much space. I would agree if toolbar would not be customizable and if i would think most users use all workbenches. -This could be "special toolbar" in some way and maybe it could have checkboxes for wanted workbenc...

Workbench switcher

Could it be implemented in a better way? When i work in FreeCAD it kind of breaks my workflow. I don't know what proper solution would be and how other users feel about this and because of that i decided to ask to share some ideas. Maybe a toolbar with buttons for workbenches on it? Toolbar would be...

Re: Ortho views Gui.

My stupid HP AIO printer won't print because a couple color cartridges are empty, even if I try to print in black only.
Probably it wont help but you could try one thing. Turn off the printer and then hold power on key and don't release it for 60 seconds. Then try.

Re: 0.12 realesed on Windows

Great!

I don't know when but starting with for example FreeCAD 0.14 that i imagine will be pretty decent peace of "3D parametric modeler software" and for example Ubuntu 12.04+ having (official) stable PPA would be very user friendly! Glad to hear (official) stable PPA is planned for the future!

Re: 0.12 realesed on Windows

Unless we add a third PPA repository for a stable branch? That would allow us to build 0.12 packages for all Ubuntu versions and architecture without much work. It would not be frequently updated anyway, only every few months between official releases. I would like this. I think we must indeed leav...

Re: How I can test assembly module?

I still believe having two modes adds complexity but we'll see. Having one mode that let you do what you want and what software is capable off is in my opinion more simple for the user to choose at any time what he/she want/need. I don't think having the option to have one project file that contains...

Re: How I can test assembly module?

If parts and assemblies created in simple mode could be used in complex mode and vice versa then having two modes adds unnecessary complexity? Simple mode could be replaced with option save/export selected models/features in one assembly file that would basically be new project file? One project fil...

Re: How I can test assembly module?

If done the right way i do see a lot of potential to make things more easy and simple that there are now and for bonus some really neat features would exist too! But i do imagine some problems could rise with implementing suggestions i and others have wrote but still i write them down for other to t...
