Re: How I can test assembly module?

Great! I will just mention ownCloud has WebDAV support and in the future there will be other possibilities for syncing files too. Other features that are available right now like calendar, contacts, users & groups... i guess they could come in handy for FreeCAD too? There is some kind of version...

Re: How I can test assembly module?

IMO open source is not doomed to follow the path of some commercial players which gather always more functions till the points of the end of usability. I couldn't agree more. What about using some open source web server with HTML interface or even better something like http://owncloud.org/ with mod...

Re: How I can test assembly module?

There will be both possibilities, several parts per file or one part per file.

Re: Editable texts in SVG templates

Hi triplus, How about sharing your template (if you don't mind)? :) The Drawing Templates wiki page could use some A4 templates! ;) (and some A and B too for people in North America, but I'm slowly working on it!) My drawing templates are very specific and because of that i made two more simple/gen...

Re: Editable texts in SVG templates

Hmm interesting... It looks like proper XML rules ask that when you use a prefix, you define it first: http://www.w3schools.com/xml/xml_namespaces.asp Indeed inkscape defines its inkscape: prefix, at the beginning of inkscape-generated files, there is: <svg xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/element...

Re: Editable texts in SVG templates

- in your SVG templates, add freecad:editable="TextName" attributes to <text> entities, to mark them as editable
I did noticed one thing.
"XML Parsing Error: prefix not bound to a namespace"
FireFox seems to be very strict it does not show SVG image and complains.

Re: Editable texts in SVG templates

Hi!

I just tested this with my custom A4 drawing template that i created in Inkscape and it works great! It's so easy to change information "on the fly" in template now. Thanks!

Re: Isometric view in Drawing

Hi, Maybe the page could be a little clearer. By the way, if you're interested in other axonometric views, like dimetric or trimetric, almost a year ago I experimented to find some values for them, look at this topic: http://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=813&p=5935&hilit=dime...

Re: Isometric view in Drawing

This is what i was looking for thanks! I thought it has something to do with direction vector and values 1 for X Y Z BUT crucial Rotation parameter (60°) was "missing" and i was searching for this information on forum and Wiki too but i guess i missed it! Now i don`t need GUI for isometric...
