Re: [Ubuntu Daily PPA] Transitioning to OCCT7, VTK7...

Excellent ! Good job ! :D :D :D Now, if you look inside the debian folder, all needed packaging files were generated by the script. It means that you can remove debian/script.sh and debian/post_script.sh (and its call in debian/rules ) to have a "classic" package ready for PPA. In attachment, the ve...

Re: [Ubuntu Daily PPA] Transitioning to OCCT7, VTK7...

I have no idea what "lXmu" and "IXi" are. A search of package contents with these names brings nothing on packages.ubuntu.com. $ sudo apt-file search libXi.so libxi-dev: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libXi.so libxi6: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libXi.so.6 libxi6: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libXi.so.6.1.0 ...

Re: [Ubuntu Daily PPA] Transitioning to OCCT7, VTK7...

I assume this patch needs to be applied first before launching the script? Yes ! Couldn't CMake flags be added to the rules file instead? I'm just thinking of how to apply this to the PPA. It is not a flag problem since it is obj-x86_64-linux-gnu/cmake_install.cmake file which have a bad path gener...

Re: [Ubuntu Daily PPA] Transitioning to OCCT7, VTK7...

Normand, Forcing the -j option of debuild to 1 should build with a single thread. Just removing --parallel from debian/rules should also work. I just built OCCT 7.1.0 packages. ;) I upload in attachment a new debian.tgz that you can test. To build the packages, decompress the newly debian.tgz provid...

Re: How selection planes work ?

We absolutely need to build a rotation/translation tool to establish a 'work coordinate system' for the job but the operations will still operate in the XY plane with Z+ as 'up'.
That's what make sense to me.

Re: [Ubuntu Daily PPA] Transitioning to OCCT7, VTK7...

Arf, I went to the end of build without problems... it is the cmake_install.cmake which failed.

According to your problem Normand, I remember that it is a missing dependency, but cant remember which one. Could you provide me full build output in an attachment ?

Thx,
gdo

Re: Thanks and questions ;)

Thanks for your reply.

This topic is too general and I will open a more specific one on each problem.

chrisb, thx for help, I found some clues with G10 L2/L20 instructions. I have to test this.
