(solved) FreeCAD 0.18: Bug delete Part

Hello! I possibly found a very, very small bug. When i delete the Part in this file (yes, PartDesign and Part mixed), the FreeCAD window freezes (but not the menu). FC++ exception thrown (basic_string::_M_construct null not valid)Traceback (most recent call last): File "<string>", line 1, in <module...

Re: get pivy for Python3 and Debian Buster

Nope, all needed dependencies are installed. libcoin80c, libsoqt520, miscellaneous python3-pyside2 packages, shiboken2, ..... . If one package was missed, GDebi had not me installed pivy. But i do not need the draft workbench (for now). Screenshot from 2019-01-06 23-56-51.png But thanks anyway. Sorr...

Re: get pivy for Python3 and Debian Buster

Or you can download it on https://packages.debian.org/unstable/python3-pivy. But for me it does not work with FreeCAD. It do not recognize pivy. But i have not make a make clean so far. Could also be that the naming of the install files is not recognized from FreeCAD.

Re: Fatal error when filleting

Hello! There are small edges in the 3D - model. The OCCT kernel will strike there. Screenshot from 2019-01-06 21-40-09.png Screenshot from 2019-01-06 21-40-37.png You can do by te last Pad the option "Refine Shape = true", then you can fillet the outer eges, but no more. I think you should remodel y...

Re: Assembly3 preview

Hello! My two cents: What's wrong is to take Catia as an example of a good assembly to follow. I know some CAD programs, some of them are high end, but CATIA have one of the best assemlby modul . Easy to learn, intuitive (at least for me) and very powerful. Greetings user edit: missing words added

Re: (solved) 0.18.15248 do not open files correct

Hello! No, if preselection is on, then working with assemblies is extreme slow. The mouse trigges the calculating on the left bottom on the screen (all 4 CPU are working, the GPU is laughting). Only when the mouse in not over an element of the assembly, then is fluent when the preselection is on. Al...

Re: 0.18.15248 do not open files correct

So, thats funny. I compiled one, do not work. So just in case, deleted the userfiles, that assemlies files loads again. I know, i should do that before, i have not. But i did not set up anything since the preselecting uncheck (that slowsdown FreeCAD on assemblies extreme). Sorry for the noise i made...
