Re: Something wrong with Postprocessing Feedrate on Path WB?

Huh. 10um is tolerance from me (near Haifa) to London. My targets are commonly 1/5-1/10 of this bound. My common parts are H5. Look. You do not need "special" paper or to be "extremaly" experienced to use it. Enough is stock paper from the same notebook you are using. Tolerancies of paper are very n...

Re: Something wrong with Postprocessing Feedrate on Path WB?

I am a bit dinosaur: I hear about it, but still not have mine. I'll check it's possibilites, and may be I'll order it. What it is not clear there, how it feels into the magazine and how it is sensitive to M6, - on some machines a hit it strong. Second not obvious thing - if it needs to be caliblated...

Re: Something wrong with Postprocessing Feedrate on Path WB?

There are too many ways and tools. Really, you need to touch a stock anyway. Most modern way is something beeping and lighting when it touches something. You can use it instead of Master Tool. Measurement of the tool itself is valid for only one machine, because the same BT not sets ideally in same ...

Nice to hear about G54...G59. I'll wait for more before switching to 0.18.
You will need to switch to 0.19 if you want WCS management.
It is nice to hear. I'll check how buggy it is at nearest holidays.

Re: Something wrong with Postprocessing Feedrate on Path WB?

Dan, I am sorry the last cheap DOOSAN ($0.5 mln) I just dropped as a gift for someone else ))))) As for Master: Yes, it is related to G43/G44. While G44 may (and should, but I avoid it) be used for switching Height Offset value to negative, many pros avoid it. The reason is simple: if someone does a...

... and Negative Offset for the High of Tool too! Look: not every machine is allowing you to touch a stock with a spindle. On, say, 4-axis systems some coolant nozzles or even Z body can reach spindle of the 4th axis when you go to Z0 without BT. More, Z spindle have a tooths for BT positioning and ...

Re: Something wrong with Postprocessing Feedrate on Path WB?

crisb, I am one of those who are writing a wikis, but do not read them )))) It seems it is a good time change my habits a bit. I'll promise. As for particular applet, I use it only for catching "no code/no path" situation. It happens frequently, sometimes without any sign of error. I will post separ...

Re: Tool Editor / Tool Table

Hi, While you are right about target of mill I posted, and all about Fly Cutter is correct, let's underline, what purpose of Fly Cutter is only finishing of surface, while index inserts are for volume operations. Of course, both of them have some identity in their profiles, and it may be described b...

Re: Something wrong with Postprocessing Feedrate on Path WB?

crisb, you are right, it looks mostly as for reference only.

Dan, I am speaking about button "Inspect the G-code contents of a path".

My FC 0.17 13541. Not moving to 0.18 because of extremely strange "TechDraw".

Cheers,
Eugenijus.
