Do you mind to open a feature request on the tracker?
REF: http://nsis.sourceforge.net/File_Association
OK, I'll do it tomorrow. With cross to this topic.

Re: FC17 install on Win7: associations belongs to FC16

FreeCAD's installer tries to be as minimally invasive as possible, so it does not set the file association, and leaves it to Windows. Never heard about Windows' possibility to do something smart instead of installer. No AI is implemented there [smile]. FC does not create it's group in registry for ...

I agree this is the source of the confusion.
So to focus on wmayer's answer https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic. ... 99#p122447
So @liutas4x4, try to re-assign the view shortcuts.
Good idea. But how?

You could open a Feature Request on the bugtracker, if you want.
But it is not the bug, sure?
May be it will correct to open "feature request"?

And how?

FC17 install on Win7: associations belongs to FC16

Hi,

After installation of FC17 13515 associations for FCStd files remains as they were for FC16, no changes in registry were made. Double click open FC16.

Is it correct?

Eugenijus

Re: How to turn off (disable) Numpad navigation?

So, only one solution at the moment is to use numeric keys on main keyboard, not on NumPad.
I will, 'cause I must [smile].

Re: How to turn off (disable) Numpad navigation?

Thank you.

I already knew the fact I can change the view using NumPad.

The question is: How to DISABLE it.

Yours,
Eugenijus.

Re: How to turn off (disable) Numpad navigation?

[grin] It is because of my English. The question is about disabling of changing a View using NumPad. Temporary or at all - not important. Let me try to explain once more: If I want to enter some value to a field on Property tab, let's say to change Z position of something, while pressing a digit on ...

How to turn off (disable) Numpad navigation?

Hi, On projects, where are a lot of direct data editing in a fields on Property tab, changing a view instead of changing data while pressing digit on already selected (!) field if boring. Where it is possible to switch it off? I'll do a shortcut to on/off it by myself, if someone shows me there. You...
