Re: Table - Parametric model with datum planes - no

And now second part. Rails! We have tabletop with four legs. Screenshot 5.png In sketches for Leg2, Leg3 and Leg4 I referenced constraints "Leg_Width" and "Overhang" from "Sketch001" belonging to "Leg1". And now thing that I didn't believe it will work at all, but it works like charm. So rails... 1....

Re: Table - Parametric model with datum planes - no

As for crashes on step 6, everyone would be grateful if you narrow down the step-by-step method of triggering this crash. Sorry I tried to reproduce this crash but nothing happened. I guess it was fixed in some of the latest commits. But anyway, it happened when trying to base sketch from on...

Table - Parametric model with datum planes

This project is product of experimenting with datums in Part Design New WB. I didn't "fall in love" with this feature at first sight, to be honest. My first experience with datum planes was lot of crashing, this feature was not documented well. So I decide to spent some time and explore DO's and DON...

Re: FreeCad 0.17-Additive pipe/Sweep profile

Thanks for testing and reporting the bug. The PartDesign sweep has seen many changes and works quite differently than the part one, so it is quite likely that a few bugs occure. During development I think I never thought about closed wire paths  ;) Even SolidWorks sometimes have hickups on st...

Re: FreeCad 0.17-Additive pipe/Sweep profile

Yes, I know this Sweep command from Part WB works.

I was trying to do same thing with Additive Sweep from PartDesign Next workbench.

Anyway thank you for your effort.

Re: FreeCad 0.17-Additive pipe/Sweep profile

:) Surely you are aware that you are using a development snapshot that is nowhere near ready for wide use. It is provided for testing and bug reporting. And it is clearly explained in the Releases page. https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/rele ... g/0.17_pre Oh yes, I know. I repeat it 67 times tryin...

Re: FreeCad 0.17-Additive pipe/Sweep profile

So it is most probably bug. I thought so. For myself I would use a subtractive sweep instead, of course that would mean making the base plate larger to compensate. I prefer to remove material rather than adding material... But I doubt it would impact this bug. I started with that but it was crashing...

Re: Furniture fittings1

Hello, I am on vacation so slow on answer. I printed it with ABS, 3 solid layers top/bottom, 3 perimeters, 0,5 mm nozzle and 0,2 mm layer height. Infill was 15% rectilinear. Everything was sliced with slic3r. Distance between moving parts is 0,2 mm. I printed it with nozzle on 215 degrees to prevent...
