Re: Exporting design to .stl

Ok, this model exports to KISSlicer without error. The quick and dirty fix was to pocket the hole all the way through. Actually did both of them to make sure. This probably should of been done this way from the start, pocketing the holes all the way through instead of padding the same hole on two di...

Re: Exporting design to .stl

Your quick bejant, but there is still one little thing that will show up in the slicer as an error, or at least it did in KISSlicer . A second refine only takes care of part of it. Been busy working on airfoils for a 1971 Esprit to be router cut and have only taken a quick look at it. Not sure why i...

Re: [Tip] How to create a (near) spiral in FreeCAD!

The new Spiral tool seems to be working well. I did notice that the first run at the Ubuntu 13.10 build failed but all is well now. Job well done. Re: .swf Support for Internal Browser?

You'r right (once again). The videos that are working are html5 and I did find a few Flash Required vids now that I have gone through more of them. The links to a few of the ones that worked - http://www.youtube.com/user/boumdadaque/videos http://youtu.be/SanPyZhLq6w http://youtu.be/hRaIJo6LV...

Re: .swf Support for Internal Browser?

SWF is an Adobe Flash animation format. So it must require some form of Flash player, one that would be LPGL-compatible (Gnash isn't). And I'm not sure it's possible for the internal browser... Yea, that's why I asked. :D The internal browser has to have some sort of flash support as I have used it...

.swf Support for Internal Browser?

As of this posting I have tried most every way I can think of to open the partkam005.swf file found over on Launchpad/PartKAM with the internal browser. It does not seem that the internal web browser supports this. Or am I wrong / missing something? If not, would it be worth adding a feature request...

Re: Wiki agonizingly slow tonight

Or the NSA sits to heavy on the wire ;) :D They certainly sit on the Sourceforge pipe! The forum has been abysmally slow in the past few days. Yes, so much so that earlier today I had to put down the mouse, back away from the computer and venture out to find something that was forward moving. Is th...

Re: Exporting design to .stl

Hi, I am fairly new to FreeCad and I wish to use it as modeller for 3D printing. For this I want to export by design to CURA for which I need an .stl file. My design consists of 9 elements. Strangely, exporting seems to be limited to include max. 6 of those. Worded differently, I fail to get all el...

Re: apply hair cell texture

I don't know of any texturing option within FreeCAD as of yet. I think in your case, the mold maker would be able to do that. Outside of that, someone far more skilled than I could script it, maybe generate a 3D point cloud and map a mesh to it or some such? (<- a total SWAG there :? ) I'm just hopi...
